If you change your plans then he's happy to work with you. We had a big chimney stack taken down from the roof all way through the house, and the supporting wall separating the kitchen and dining room removed and a steel beam inserted. This is a horrendously messy job, with ridiculous amounts of dust, and we stayed in the property during the work.
